Before and Afters

In September of 2017 Hurricane Irma made its way up the state of florida leaving destruction in its path. Brevard County including Titusville were not spared it’s wrath. Along the Indian river flood surge and high winds resulted in approximately $ 157 million in structural damage alone. An additional $ 8 million plus was needed for debris removal and coastal reconstruction.

Bay Pointe Condominiums were not spared this destruction. The existing seawall proved inadequate for the strength of the storm, and was destroyed along with significant damage to both structures and land areas. We were contracted by the H.O.A. to restore and improve the seawall, repair all structural damage, and rebuild the rip-rap along the riverfront. Project took approximately 8-months to complete.

This project was an inland lake restoration project. This large complex was situated on a lake and had numerous erosion and water control issues. This project required small-scale dredging and using Geotextiles to rebuild the waterfront and keep erosion under control. This was an 11-month project.

Another property affected by hurricane damage. In this case the goal was to reclaim the shoreline and install rip-rap to eliminate future erosion. The project took approximately 3-months to complete.
